White Ribbon Day Fashion Parade
November 12th, 2008

Yay! more fashion parade events! I love capturing the beauty of gowns and garments as they come down the runway! and better yet! Culture Shock is featured in this parade also! I have been a fan of culture shocks gowns for the last.. 2-3 years?? Truly beautiful! as Lisa Merton’s brand name suggests, her designs feature an overlap of cultures! her designs below says all! Got you interested?? Check out; www.culture-shock.com.au !

Clarzzy, and kids at the Patch!
November 7th, 2008

I appologise, i ‘lied’, that I’ll be ‘back’ for good, meaning I’d blog so so much more often… but it turns out I got capped (used up internet bandwith) just 2 days later… SAD! So therefore, my net-life has slowed down, and in those situations you rather get involved with others things than spend half the time.. waiting. I’m counting down! another week till its a new month for my internet usage!.. Australian net is so horrid! so behind for a developed country as well! argh!
But today, is a beautiful day, the sky is blue- and looking warm outside. I’m happy as well; not only because the boyfriend dropped by nice and early to surprise me before going to work! But also, I’m glad to announce that i’m finally employed myself! Yes, to be honest I’ve never had a legal job… (this whole online business, isn’t really legal issit?… people keep telling me
but I’m sure the government doesn’t pick up on this ittybittylittle business). Back on topic, I’m employed! after a month of resume dropping at retail outlets and such, hoping to get a christmas casual job atleast, but I’m glad instead, I landed myself something more permanent, although still casual.

I’m working at Pumpkin Patch Kids now! .. Yes! Kids Clothes! I love the Patch clothes, and I agree with my bestie, who also works there (and her name is also a Clarissa! imagine how complicated that is!), that it is such a colourful environment to work in - and you won’t get bored with! Have I mentioned I loved kids? and kids clothes? Which makes things even better
Having said that, it could also mean my holidays will be just as busy; with the Christmas period coming up - I could possibly be busier than during uni semester. I will still find time to attend to aishii though! We still have a stall coming up! We’ve recently made a new batch of pendants, and I’m lovin it!
Anyway, this was meant to be just a short note, I better head out and do some groceries (like a mother :(( ), get home.. start studying again! I hope!
Great day to you all!
back for good.
October 29th, 2008

i had a blank moment, just staring at the this page... puzzled about what to write, or more so how to write again.
i hate this feel, trying to ‘gather yourself’ once again.. after having disappeared from the ‘face’ of blogosphere.. and you suddenly feel overwhelmed of all thats happened; and trying to pick out the interesting bits to share. i will try anyways.
i hope all is well for whats left of my little audience out there! *echoes*. i’ve had a busy past few weeks just trying to keep up with uni life and such, and i’m almost at the end of it; for now anyways. i finally feel that things have slown down, i can catch up with myself again.. although i keep reminding myself i still have an exam on nov 13th! … my mind has already started compiling the holiday resolutions, fun, fun, fun.
so a ‘very’ brief flash back at my life for the past 3 weeks or so? (i thank marcc, for reminding me that i have neglected this little space of mine~)
photography.

(my friend; designed & made the above dresses! her project entitled; ‘the Armourist’ inspired by marie antoinette - contemporary-lized!)

that’s one of the major hobbies i’ve involved myself into recently; and i just can’t get enough of it! i’ve purchased a new lens; Canon 50mm f1.4, and am loving it! I’ve helped friends do some photoshoots, and its so much fun. The down side is, i’ve added onto my interests priority lists - just under aishii i suppose. this is when you wish there were enough hours in a day, or days in a week just to do what you want to do!

on the note about Aishii; i’m glad to announce that we’re having another stall at Glebe Markets!!

We’re currently working on making new designs and things.. I can’t wait till we get it all together!
a very short post; as i like to keep it short and sweet.. yet fill in some gaps. i’ll be back shortly when i find more to say ~ … i just feel like i have all the time in the world.. haha.
The Ups and Downs of October
October 3rd, 2008
I’m back! from no where really. I’ve just been drowned into a life full of events for the past few weeks; and a few days- where I found myself lazing around in bed; instead of doing uni work! I’m on my mid-sem break; and am truly treating it like one! (when I shouldn’t be
)
Random note; my love for red is growing! <3

As my aunt said; these flats are very ‘Audrey-Hepburn’! sure to make heads .. look down. hehe
It’s a very hot Spring day today hitting 35deg! Too hot for Spring don’t you think? I’ve spent the last few hours at the shopping centre, but unfortunately I’m back here in my stuffy little room. I’m glad I made the effort to update my blog, while waiting for the bf to come back from work
Random Note#2; Some time in September; after the storm

Well, October has had a great start so far! I’m glad to say that we’ve sold 5 bags today; whoopee! Right after a mass relist of half the shop items (since they were going to expire next week anyway).
Our September goals were;
September Goals:
Total sales: 20
Shop Hearts: 600
September Summary:
Total Sales: 8 .. no where near I know haha.
Shop Hearts: 295 .. close!
I guess we got too excited by aiming for 20! However we’d still like to beat the August record of 13 bags.
October Goals
Total sales: 16
Shop Hearts: 625
We’ve already sold 5 bags to start October! so it’s look great so far! (hope I didn’t jinx it…)
Recently, Marcc and myself have been working on our upcoming line of clutches, which we have named “Chelsea” .. take a sneak peak!

“Chelsea”; Personally, I really love the colours!
I’ll be uploading a few more new bags and things in the coming days! so stay tuned!
Happy October selling/shopping!
P.S. Aishii is setting up another stall at Glebe Markets around late October! Date will be confirmed soon!
